Snowman in the Snow

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Happy Friday Lovelies!!! It's the last weekend before Christmas. Hope you have got your shopping done so you can now enjoy the Holiday's :D I really love my mani today it features the snow like China Glaze Texture.  I really debated getting this polish several times cause of the bad reviews but I am so happy I got it anyways.

China Glaze: Theres Snow One Like You
Sinful Colors White on White
Wet n Wild: Break the Ice
Butter London: Pillar Box Red

china glaze sinful colors theres snow one like you wet n wild break the ice butter london snowman winter chrismas winstonia stamping pillar box red

I really had no problem with application for Theres Snow One Like You. You apply it like a glitter with one normal application than dab it on for your second coat. It is absolutely gorgeous also, so if you haven't gotten yours yet I HIGHLY suggest you grab it before its gone!
Have a wonderful weekend!

KKCenterHK Lace Foil, Review

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png photo button_zpsc89bd61d.png

Morning lovelies, how has everyone's week been? I know mine feels like it has been dragging on. Today I have a gorgeous nail foil from KKCenterHK to review for you.

This is such a gorgeous lace print. It is translucent so you could do any background color.  Below is how I wore this foil.

Wet n Wild: Break the Ice
China Glaze: Liquid Leather

This is the second foil I have used from KKCenterHK and I must say I love the quality of their foils. I don't experience any balding where the image didn't transfer and they don't 'crack' with a fast dry top coat. I also really wish they made this print in a white!

You can find this lace foil here for only $6.92.  KKCenterHK is a great website to find tons of nail art.  If you haven't visited this site yet you should really go and check out all they have to offer for nail decor, make sure to use my 10% off code below!!

Fashion 31DC2013 Mani

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Can you believe it is Wednesday? I feel like this week has gone by fast, not that I'm complaining! For today's, inspired by fashion, I did some searching from the runway. After going thru 5 designers I found this look by Valentino, from the fall 2013 collection.

Below is my interpretation to this dress.

Zoya: Kennedy
L'oreal: Jet Set to Paris
Wet n Wild: Break the Ice

I used craft scissors to create the scallop design. I choose this dress as my inspiration cause I could see myself wearing it, plus I love the colors! Only 5 days left in the challenge!!!

Chick an Eggs

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

OMG I have the cutest easter mani ever today! I am not sure why chicks are part of representing Easter but, hey they are cute!! I was inspired by this mani, I saw it in a group on Facebook and immediately knew I would recreate with a chick for Easter :)

Sinful Colors: White on White and Black on Black
Wet n Wild: Break the Ice
NYC: Orange Traffic Jam
Color Club: Almost Famous
Butter LONDON: Matte Effect

Now can you see why I screamed OMG at the beginning?? These are just so darn cute. The original idea for the dripping yolks is so creative!  Who is getting excited for easter??

Evanora (Oz) Nails

Happy Monday, this weekend went way to fast hopefully that's a sign this week will go fast!! I had a review planned for today but I am waiting on some more info from the supplier so stay tuned this week to view some pretties!

This past weekend I went to see Oz the Great and Powerful. Quick opinion on the movie was that it was ok, it was funnier than I thought and had a twist I didn't expect. While I was watching this movie tho I kept thinking of OPI's collection for this movie. By now you have probably seen the collection of neutrals and glitters with a liquid sand. My main thought was how did OPI come up with those colors to represent the Oz?? Wouldn't it of made more sense for an Emerald Color (Emerald City) or a Golden Color (Yellow Brick Road). Anyways just a few thoughts.

Now for my nails I was inspired by Evanora, one of the bad witches, she had a edgy mani for this movie.

Wet n Wild: Break the Ice
Sinful Colors: Black on Black
Art Club Silver Sparkle Stripper

I was very impressed with this choice of mani for Evanora, it really makes her nails look like claws. This design is really easy to do yourself also, probably will be a good Halloween mani! Here is a picture of her nail's in the movie.

Have you seen this movie yet? What were your thoughts on the OPI Oz collection?

31 DC, Day 4: Pink VNC: Ombre or Gradient

Only one more challenge left in the Valentine Nail Art Challenge!!  I have my last combination of these two challenges today also :) I was pretty lucky with these two falling together since a pink gradient is simple!

Base color is Lime Crime: Parfait Day and Wet N Wild Coloricon: Jewels for Your Highness, top coat of Out the Door.

I realized I haven't done a sparkle gradient in a long time! I usually avoid glitter since it sucks to remove. Links to the other participates of both challenge are below!

Valentine Nail Art Challenge: Dotticure

How is everyone today!?! I am so happy that it is finally friday I feel like this week has taken forever. I had an eventful morning, waking up to about 6-8inches of snow and had to shovel my drive way to get into work. I was only 15min late! Anyways this valentine challenge is almost over as we are inching our way to the day! I had alot of fun with this mani, it's super cute :)

Base color is Wet n Wild Megalast: Undercover, used China Glaze: White on White, Sally Girl: Neon Pink and Top Coat of Out the Door.

Dot gradient with some hearts! I wish my base color was just alittle more red, but I wanted to use an older polish. I hope everyone has better weather than me and that you all have a fun weekend!!

HJCC: Day 2, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!!

For today's theme of Let it Snow!, Let it Snow!, Let it Snow! I did a more subtle design. My inspiration for my design is from when it's night and when light hits the snow it glitters :)
I started with one coat of Wet n Wild: Break the Ice, than applied a thick coat of Glitter Daze: Power of Three, I stamped with Sally Hansen: Silver Sweep on plates: BM14, BM 318 and BM319, finished with top coat of Out the Door.
It was hard to photgraph the snowflakes, but in real life they stand out more :) It really is subtle and shiny which reminds me of snow! Thankfully here in Michigan we have gotten a small amount of snow, sadly it's has yet to stick.

Here Comes the Bride!

Theme mani today is for my friends wedding!! I am very excited about this mani aswell as the wedding, going to be so beautiful and fun! There are lots of different designs for doing a bride and groom on your nails, I decided upon this one and added some rings to the flair.

To start my base color is Wet N Wild- French Creme on all the nails and only the dress shape on my middle finger. Than for alittle shine I added Wet n Wild: Break the Ice used Sinful Colors: Black on Black for the  tux shape. Essie: Gold as Gold is used for the rings and monogram draw with a dotting tool. Layla: Mercury Twilight was used for a necklace and underneath 3 Rhinestones for the diamond on the engagement ring. Top coat of Out the Door for all nails.
I love the turn out, it was hard to capture a better picture showing the rings cause of the shine in the sun. They are simply just circles like a wedding band :)
Have you done a wedding themed mani yet?

Neon Marble

Back to nail art instead of plain one color nails :) I have been wanting to do a neon water marble for awhile and when I heard China Glaze was introducing neon collection for this summer I couldn't wait till my Sally Store carried them. Sadly most of them were taken by the time I got they so here is the two I was able to snag.
Started with Wet n Wild: French White Creme. Used China Glaze: I'm With the Lifeguard and Beach Cruise-r. Top coat of Out the Door.
These colors are awesomely bright. I can't wait to use I'm With the Lifeguard in other nail designs this summer. Hopefully I'll be able to get some more of the new Neon's later this month also.

Wet n Wild Chrome

Today I have a swatch of the Limited Edition from Wet n Wild called Chrome. This collection is metallic  and they come in an 8.5ml bottle which is kinda small for 3.99 ea. so I grabbed a purple one to try it out.
This picture is in the sun obviously, I figured this is the best way to show off metallics. Application was very simple and only required two coats, which is good considering how small the bottles are. The name of this one is Hog-Quartz School, yes it reminds me of Hogwarts also, not sure if there was a reason to this. All in all I think just having one of these before they stop being sold is good enough. Go pick out your favorite color!

Sunshine Yellow

In honor of the beautiful sun we have been getting in Michigan I wanted to create my brightest yellow nail color. Of course the picture doesn't do it justice but here is a response I got from a customer at work while wearing it. "Holy sunshine fingernails" :) Hence the name Sunshine Yellow.
Start with a white base coat Wet n Wild: French Whit Creme. This is the key when doing any neon color. Next was Nina Ultra Pro: Solar Flare, and to add some shine I used Color Club: Daisy Does it. Top coat of Out the Door.
I ended up wearing this color longer than I expected but thats cause I wanted to figure out a design to incorporate it, sadly I never did.
Any ideas?

Sparkle Gradient

Well I finally am backing off the water marbles for this post, I am in the mood for some sparkle on the sunny day. Gradients have seem to be popular so I joined the wagon.
One coat of China Glaze: Mediterranean Charm than China Glaze: After Glow. For the sparkle I used Wet n Wild Coloricon: Jewels for your Highness. Top coat of Out the Door.
On my ringer finger I covered the complete nail in sparkle rather than gradient to  make it more interesting. I love how bright the pink is and the sparkles pop off of it.
Have you jumped on the gradient wagon also?

Full Water Marble Mani

Well I have finally completed a full Water Marble Mani. For my first time doing one I only did an accent finger. This time around it was easier since I bought OPI colors which we like heaven to work with.
Base coat was Wet n Wild: French White Creme. I used OPI: La Paz-itively Hot, Pamplona Purple and Zoya: Kendal for the water marble. Top coat of Northern Lights to add some sparkle.
I am a huge fan of this one, instead of tapping them off like last time I used Petroleum Jelly around the nail. I found that it was harder than the tape.
Which method do you prefer to use for doing your water marble mani's?

Purple Curves

For this mani I started with one coat Wet n Wild Megalast: On a Trip, than I used some scrapbooking scissors to tape off curves and applied, China Glaze: Avalanche, did the same for the last color Ultra Pro: Purple Xing. Top coat of Out the Door.
I love these colors together, I found Purple Xing this weekend on my shopping haul it is by far the best purple sparkle I have. Plus its a one coat glitter and who doesn't love those?

Easter Nails!

This was my first nail art by hand, boy was it fun and I can't believe how good they came out!
My base color was Studio M: Whose That Girl, for the grass I used Wet n Wild Megalast: I Need a Refresh-Mint. For the egg colors I used two Essie's: Cute as a Button and Nice is Nice. For the white I used my Art Club Nail Art Duo Pen for the eggs designs and the stripper for the Bunny. Than used the black Art Club Nail Art Duo Pen for the Bunnies eyes whisker and nose. Back with the Essie: Cute as a Button for the inside bunny ear and over the nose. Top coat with Out the Door.
Hope you all have a great Easter and get creative with your nail designs!!

Well I Lied..

So I didn't keep my mani more than a day, but that's because I wanted Coloricon to be on ALL my nails!
I very rarely wear one color on all my nails, but this one is just to wonderful!! I am definitely going to be buying the rest of this collection very soon. Also I highly suggest you to as well! The pictures are not worthy enough to what it really looks like, trust me! Happy Friday!!

Lust an Accent Finger

OMG!! I love this one, will probably last more than one day :) It's a purple mani, but of course my camera makes it seem more blue :(
First coat is Orly: Charged up, than to get more of a shine I used Studio M: Lust. For my accent finger I used my Wet n Wild, Coloricon: Speak When Spoken To. For my top coat I am trying Out the Door instead of SV. I think I like this one better, less smell and same results without shrinkage of the polish.
I know I have used the Coloricon color alot, but I just love it to much! I wish the picture would show the gradient better, I find myself staring at it randomly :D
Whats one of your favorite polishes you find yourself using alot?

A Periwinkle Mani

The weather has been so nice that I wanted to brighten my nails up and periwinkle is such a springy color! You don't see much of this color.
I walked by the display for Nicole by OPI, Kim Kardashians Colors and love the new color Nothing Kim-Pares to Blue. In my picture it shows up a lot, but  they blend better in real life so to say. The color is very delicate and has alittle shimmer to it. Next for the middle stripe I tape off 3/4 of the nail with scotch tape and apply Wet n Wild: Rain Check. Lastly is my new favorite polish that Wet n Wild has came out with. There are 5 new colors from Wet n Wild Coloricon Be Jeweled Collection.

I have mine pictured above, you can kind of see all the sparkles but not the gradient in the polish. The name of this one is Speak when Spoken To, I applied this for the top stripe and than a coat of SV to finish the mani.
You can kind of see how my lines are diagonal instead of plan horizontal. Also ignore the shininess of my cuticles, wasn't completely perfect with my SV.
Hope everyone loves this one!
